This is a project i took on by a horse owner that want a new home for her saddle and tack. When asked if I would build her one I made it known never built one but I was given the liberty to design it however I wanted and this is what I came up with. It took me 2 weeks and it took that long because most of the time was spent thinking lol… I’m not taking this Web site as a way to sell just to get an honest opinions. Negative is also welcome but please explain what you think I could have done better. Thanks

That looks really nice, what wood did you use for the construction?

This is a very impressive tack trunk ,it just seems way to nice to put tack in. I too would like to know what woods you used.

And yes i agree but that’s me wanting to over achieve and secure satisfaction to the person receiving it as it was a gift from her husband. I almost didn’t want to part with it because I was so happy and proud of the end result.

Awesome work. It looks gorgeous. You approached it the right way, you thought about it and planned it before cutting anything for it. Good job.

Welcome to Lumberjocks

That is a beautiful tack box. I like the boot rack and the details outside.

Great job on that trunk , I like the finish and the trim molding . What did you use on the inside to get that design on the sides ?

This cornice is just one of six that I’ve done. I wish I had pictures but lost my phone that held them. This cornice I made for my mom and for sure it’s a piece that does not go unnoticed when you first walk in the home. Everyone just loves the way it all tights in with the rest of the furnisher.
