Adjustable Work Bench

Here’s my work bench I built a while back I thought I would post it. It is made out of maple and black walnut. The bench has a removable shelf on the bottom that can be taken out. The middle storage area has two tops lids to keep down the dust and keeps the storage area clean. It also has lockable wheels that can be micro adjusted along with the top so that it can be set at any height for working and used as an out feed table if needed. I have two rebuilt vises one on each end along with multiple bench dog holes for hold downs. The adjustability makes working on all different projects really nice.

Nice looking bench!
Adjustability is a nice feature!!

Do you have a blog of the build?
Are you able to provide details/pictures of the mechanics that facilitate height adjustment???

Again, nice build!!!

That is a very cool bench, adjustable and all. Very nice, quite often it would be nice to drop my bench down to a useable level. Thanks for sharing.

Not the average bench, but mighty nice!

Agreed with Randy, would be really nice to see the details on the adjustability as I’ve pondered that very issue many times in the past. Great build!

Thanks for the kind words guys.
Randy / Matt the bench’s adjustability / legs are a kit from Noden Adjust-A-Bench. Here is a link to a You Tube video to see how it works. You can also go to their web site that can explain it more. It also has a gallery page of how others have customized their benches.

Geoff Noden would be proud. I’ve been using an Adjust-a-Bench for several years and love the flexibility. Your bench looks great.
Enjoy
