One of the nice features of our home (1929 tudor bungalow) is the arched doorways and wall insets. I made this mantle with raised panels. It was a challenge to get the arched panels and styles to fit. I used clear pine for all the parts. In my tradition of “never quite finishing anything”, I still need to make a knob for the flue flap.
