These signs were commissioned by a very good friend of ours.

She intends to use them as holiday presents, which hopefully will make five others happy as well! Bonus!

Carving done on my CNC Router, outer cutting on my scrollsaw and then rounded on my router table.

They have imbedded magnets under a felt backing so they can stick onto the dishwasher.

Whatever word is “up” indicates if the dishes are dirty or clean – easy way to keep it straight.

Made from reclaimed white oak – two palette slats if I remember correctly.

Finished with a few coats of spray lacquer.

Awesome work, We have one of these at work in our kitchen…. However, with 55 men who fix inbound aircraft everynight the challenge in doing dishes is truly one of the Natural Wonders of the world… :>)

These are great for Christmas presents Bob. I can see how handy that CNC router is. Good work!

Nice job Bob! Sounds like you had quite a few tools going on this one, sure makes the job easier doesn’t it.

This is a better system than my wife uses which is a piece of paper with dirty written on it taped to the dish washer. Thanks for a great Christmas gift idea!!

Those look very professional. Nice style.
I don’t think I could trust anyone at my house to flip the sign…........................

Is the paddle for the person who puts dirty dishes into the clean dish washer? LOL
