this is a smaller bird house then the last one i made, this one is for a client, its going as a christmas gift, but as always i enjoyed making it, its made from white oak and red cedar, the roof if oak and the front and the gable ends are red cedar, i made this one so the front comes out for cleaning, just remove two screws and its out, i put four coats of exterior finish on it and also has a bracket underneath so it can sit onto a 4×4 post. ive made several small projects lately , but they only show for a very small amount of my woodworking for the past few months, i have a project that will be posted within the next few weeks, stay tuned, and thanks for taking the time to look. grizzman

Bob,
Obviously intended for upscale birds. Nice.

For a birdhouse that nice, your client should charge the birds rent!

Excellent Grizz. If you were to increase the scale by about 20X, I’d be happy to live in it!

Looks like it’s for a lumber jock bird! LOL! Or a Paul Bunyan bird? Maybe you can make some dollhouses with this motif?
