Lyric Loft cabinets, the twins

I have owned twin buildings, built back in the 1880’s and for almost 7 years the upstairs has been just a shell, this year I started building apartments above my workshop. There are 2 one bedroom apartments at the rear of the building (twins) and 1 two bedroom at the front.

The “twins” have a small loft area above the kitchen/bath which separate the bedroom from the living room, this allows the natural light from the bedroom window to shed some light into the living room also.

The cabinets are poplar with mdf panels. Painted with Sherwin Williams acrylic.

Had to include the photo of the shop dog “Pozar” (polish for fire) he keeps an eye on me all the time!

This project is the reason I haven’t been dropping by here for a while, my buddy who just got out of the Air Force is working for me, and we did all the framing, electrical, plumbing and now cabinets.

Hopefully getting these rented in January.

Nice cabinets, how about some pictures of the rest of the building?

Have your say...
