I seem to be on the small project kits lately. I guess I’m making Christmas gifts. Here is a Cigar Pen and a couple more of the 5.66 mm Pencils that I have recently turned. The pen is Cocobolo and the pencils are Cherry Burl and Maple Burl. After using my first pencil in the shop for the past week – I have become of huge fan of the 5.66 mm pencils. They are great for marking stock.

I really like the wood on the middle one. Great work.

Nice looking. I could come to like the smaller pencil lead also.

Those are beautiful Bill. I wish I was into turning the pencils. I think that is a great idea and you have the satisfaction of using something that you made. Well done.

Great job on the pens Bill. I think I will take your advise and try the 5.66 mm Pencil kit.

Great looking pen and pencils Bill.. I have at least a dozen of #5 and #9 pencils in my shop. Both sizes have their uses. I could never go back to a standard pencil that is constantly in need of sharpening.

These are all very nice. The shop pencils are gr8 marking tools in the shop when fine lines are not needed.
