Another Adirondack

After seeing other photos of the LeeValley Adirondack Chair I decided to give this a shot myself. As everyone says, adirondack chairs use so much wood and this plan was pretty involved for me but the look in the end is great. Since the plan gives you templates to cut out, that cuts out the whole process of having to make my own templates and measuring them out. The only thing I don’t like about this plan is the chair seems to be a little narrow but it is a very nice and clean design. It’s made of western red cedar and I have yet to put any stain on it. I did add on a last curved seat slat to get rid of the space that would have been at the bottom of the back. Right now this one is my chair for inside the garage. ;)

Great job! I have two of these to build and I have to say this is my favourite design so far. Two thumbs up!
