This is my most recent project for my mother and step father. I’m glad this project is done because I had so many things hold up the progress of it, but I got it done a few days before thanksgiving. First time I used a French cleat system for hanging something and I gotta say it works great! The project was made from 30 year old white oak, so some of it was wormy and had small areas of spalting but not enough to make it a “showy” part of the project. Thanks everyone for taking look.

The shelf looks great. A couple of these guys (or something similar) will make those cables disappear. :-) They would love you for that.

Thanks a lot, Cable conduit is in the very near future. But had to be ready by thanksgiving so it would look nice for the family.

The tv sits up pretty high. Is there another sofa in the room facing the tv?
