I built this router table a year or so ago, after I had only been woodworking for a few years. It’s been a great addition to my shop ever since. It’s based on plans from one of the woodworking magazines (I don’t remember which one). It’s built entirely out of baltic birch. The top hinges up for easy access to the router. It’s realtively simple, but very functional. Some day I’ll upgrade to a better insert, but the plywood ones are just fine for now. It’s very big and heavy (you may notice the handles on the side, but they don’t really make moving it any easier), so I don’t move it around much. Soon I’ll be building a mobile stand to put it on to make moving it around a little easier.

Very nice… well put together.
I bought a cast alluminum table years ago, and then after I spent all the money on it, decided that I could have made one a little better, just like yours… lol.
Great job on this… !

Shop Notes, I think. I’ve been planning on building this router table ever since I saw the plans. Haven’t been able to find a source of BB in my area – too much to order online in small sections! If I recall correctly, it is all 1/2” BB, right? Very nice job!!!
