A friend wanted a dog house for her very spoiled dog. She wanted it big and special so she got a covered patio with raised food and water bowl area, flower pots, picket fence and attic storage. Suffice it to say, she is one lucky pup. The young man in the picture is my son, the man with the ideas, who helped build this. The one picture tries to show the door to the attic storage in the back of the house.

Well I think I want to come back as a dog worked all my life like one and death is not far away,
So I am looking forward to my new Home.

I will even help finishing it by fetching the cladding !!

PS: Remind me of a cartoon I saw the other day.

Picture of a Dog, Talking. “Let me get this straight. You walk me. You Feed me. You take me to the Hospital if I get Sick. You cleanup my DOO DOO’s. You Bathe me. You made a special bed for me. (ETC) And YOU’RE MY MASTER???

Nice! The porch is great for those days puppy isn’t stuck inside when raining and can keep comfortable in the summer. My son built a log house for his Lab using landscape timbers. He added a adjustable “chimney” for ventilation in the summer.

Wow! Your dog must live the life of Riley. Nice work.

Wow, thanks everyone, I will be sure to share your comments with the boy.

@rick – good one, I am sure that is the way my cat thinks also.

That’s the best dog house I’ve seen. Talk about a lucky dog! Just awesome.
