Picture frame for a friend ( jatoba )

A friend of mine had one of her paintings vandelized, luckily the painting she did was fine but the frame was broken. So I offered to make one for her.

This was a perfect opportunity to use nothing but hand tools.
The bevel was done with a #5 jack plane and the round over was done with a Stanley #45 combination plane.

I believe the wood is jatoba? Please correct me if I’m wrong because I am curious. It is extremely dense/hard and very heavy.
It was finished with 3 coats of BLO and paste wax.
