wow! Nice build. Currently I am using some spare cupboard shelves to store my tools and I have been thinking of making my own Tools Cabinets. I have my grand fathers, winter bed linen box, made of Burmese Teak, which i wish to modify it suitable to store tools, with partitions and trays and also storage in the ample lid which is 4” deep, for readily placing my hand tools for quick access.

Your tool box gives some ideas about layout. Thanks for sharing.

Excellent build Chad, should last a long time. At least the little one seems satisfied!

Nice build, like to see more pics of your other tool storage.
Good thinking to use materials available.
Don’t forget “reclaimed” wood for projects.
Young ‘un seems happy with your build. Maybe a box to play in?
