Wow, really nice work Chad!

I’ve been thinking it’s time to scale my projects back to something more bite size….and to get some experience with dovetailing and or finger joints….and boxes are the answer to that…

I do enjoy the contrast betwixt purple heart and maple.
Great job!

This box looks so good. The wood is beautiful.

Thanks guys means alot. The bite size are more out of necessity as hardware is so hard to get. Would love to do larger projects but other that ply and oak, maple and pine its sleem pickings.

Nice box. I like that wood combination also. I’m in the process of building my daughter a jewelry box with the same wood. Did you have to let the purple heart sit for awhile before you finished it to let the deep purple hue come back?

Good job! Great wood combination. Really like the heart lift on the tray, nice touch.

Nice looking box. Great idea with the lift out heart handle.
