Here are a couple oak night stands. We recently opened up a bedroom and made it a guest bedroom. We had a bed frame made out of oak, so I made these nightstands to match. Used the plans from wood magazine, and modified only slightly. Only put 3 coats of wipe on finish, but used wool lube to do the final rub. Turned out very smooth!

Also used Kreg’s pocket hole joinery instead of mortise and tenon. Worked fantastic. Very solid!
