I made this Carved box out of Birch, looks fancy but the CNC machine did most of the work.

Beautiful. Handcarving is a skill that takes years to get good at. I’ve been handcarving for 5 years now and could not do the work you are showing here.

I have a Carvetight (Craftsmen). Which CNC machine did you use ? Where can I find the .pnt for your project ?

This came from the Vectric webpage , so I gues you can’t convert it. At least not Legaly.

I didn’t think you could either but now at least everybody knows where to get the design if they want to make one themselves if they have the Vectric software, that was the reason I choose to go with my shark versus a carvewright unit, the opinion out there was it was a nice machine but it was proprietary to there designs only. Any other feedback on the carvewright machine would be nice to hear.

Lovely box! Like the wood and the intricate design. Great job and cool machine!
