Idea from a book my brother gave me a few years ago “Making more mechanical models” I was hoping to get a video but not sure how to upload one. This is going to be my brothers Christmas present. Hope he likes it.

COOL…

Going to add a Crank to it, etc.?

Nice job!

Does it work smooth?

Looks great Ted, now you can build a wooden bike. Wouldn’t that be fun?

G’Day Ted, There is sure a whole heap of work in doing that chain…
I’ve seen a “work in progress” by a mate doing the tracks for a crawler and so many small parts….
A true labour of love and patience..

Great work! That’s a really piece of fine wood working!

Thanks for all the kind words everyone. Joe, I’ve pondered adding a crank right now I just turn the knob on the back to move the chain. It does finally run smooth, took a lot a fussing and fretting and adjusting to get there. Stafang, my son had the same idea. I’ve seen some pictures on the net of wooden bicycles. I think I’ll leave that to them.
