Two new Bowls- Corkscrew Willow and Hills Weeping Fig.

These two bowls have been hanging around for a while and they were finished last week. Both are sanded to 400 grit and finished with Shellawax Glow.

The willow bowl is 6in x 3in and the fig is 5.5in x 2.5in.

There is some spalting in the willow bowl and I just love the grain pattern and colours in the Fig wood.

Two very nice bowls Bob and nicely turned… and as you mentioned the grain and colours in the fig are beautiful…Great job

Nice work. How was working with Fig? Does it move a lot? Does it check or crack?

Nice turning Bob, agree that the grain is nice on both bowls but the fig is more defined.

Nice work there Bob, I like that Willow, kinda looks like figured Maple.
