Another finished project, the wood is Lyptus.
I elected to use several coats of Watco Danish Oil to fill the pores by wet sanding and seal the wood.
The topcoat is 5 coats of General Finish Arm-A-Seal, followed by a few coats of wax.
Also, the keys are Walnut.
Overall the project was fun, the wood is dense and tends to splinter easy.

Sorry the photo is turned, for reasons unknown to me, the LJ’s site will not allow the photo to be rotated.
I’ve made numerous attempts and I give up…..

It took me about 10 seconds to realize the mirror wasn’t on the ceiling (picture sideways).

Now it all makes more sense. Nice project, I like the mirror frame.
