Those of you who know me, know that I love to recycle! This bench/hall tree was made from 50 year old oak doors and couple bi-fold doors that I found at a demolition place in our local town. Only thing I bough for it were the coat hooks and the piano hing. The bench also stores our grandchildren’s toys.

The doors had the door knobs still in them, so instead of trying to coble something to cover the holes, I made a heart shape from the knobs…. not sure I like it but the boss loved it.

The heart hole was inspired and it works great.

Very creative recycle buddy. I really like the heart solution as well.

That’s one fine looking furniture. Beautiful wood and great finish.

Thanks everyone! I love looking at old pieces and thinking “What can I make with that”. Of course my boss throws out her ideas too! LOL But so enjoy making nice pieces out of good finds!!!
