Amazing how something simple for our vacation place we just bought in Michigan snowballs into something alot more involved. Got reclaimed Chestnut from my local wood place cut from beams out of a barn the guessed from the 1830’s to make a hutch. Wife says hmmm a table would be cool oh how bout benches too since ya have extra. Table and benches are all glue up, mortises and toe and heel cuts left for character. Tenons on posts I mortised thru table top for strength and character. No nails or screws all biscuits splines or dowels like on leftover stuff to make shelves above countertop. Thx for peeking Steve (hutch still not done tho)
