Special thanks to Scott Morisson, with all the generous explanations on the DVD I was able to make this possible.
This is my first attempt ,it s cherry wood finished with 3 coats of Danish Oil.

Excellent chair. That’s quite shiny for 3 coats of danish oil… you must have put a ton of time into surface preparation. The flowing curves look really fantastic, and that cherry will darken nicely with age.

You’ve created a beautiful rocker. I have some cherry in my shed for my next Maloof style rocker and I hope ot looks as good as yours does.
