I built this for my sister in 2010. She told me to beat it up and make it look as old as possible. I used a 4 metal grinder to create the uneven rough edges. I filled a towel full of nuts and bolts and beat the entire project. Then beat it up with a board with screws in it to create fake wormholes. It felt a little wrong treating $500 of mahogany this way but when it was done I didn’t want to give it to her.

Once again, the customer determines fine Woodworking. I am sure she was thrilled.

Great job! Like that weathered look and the drawers. She will love it and you just have to make another one for yourself.
