I was afraid of turning the socket handles but made a couple trial runs to practice the sockets and develop the shape and went for it. Unfortunately if you look close you can see the blanks were barely big enough and I couldn’t turn all of the stain away so there’s some stripes left. Oh well, they’ll work fine.

Great work. Making the taper fit has got to be tough. I like this style of handle on my chisels.
