Here’s a Bengal tiger I just finished up. The carving part wasn’t bad, getting the color I wanted and the stripe pattern were the hardest for me. He is airbrushed with the stripes hand painted. Clear glass eyes were hand painted to get the right color. The base is black walnut with the rocks hand carved. Hope you enjoy.

Good god that is wonderful!
I’m scared to ask, but how many hours go into something like this?

That is just magnificent! I’m at a loss for words so I’ll give it a Thumbs Up.

Thanks guys, I have about 80 hours tied up in carving, texturing, burning and painting the tiger and carving the base.
Probably another 10 or so in research and pattern making. This is only the second tiger I’ve ever carved, they usually get a bit easier after I carve about 20 or so. LOL

That’s spectacular, almost looks like the real thing. Awesome carving and paint job.
