Eastern walnut Prairie couch with european leather and a sprung seating. Dye, oil and wax finish. I have two more of these almost finished. I need a bigger shop! The coffee table/blanket chest is mine as well. Our sun room is looking nice! This couch is for sale if anyone is interested…

That’s a beautiful couch and goes perfectly with your living room. Do you track your builds? This would be great to watch.

I have photos of some of the build but don’t really have the time to post them in blog form. There are two more of these to finish!

Great project, I really like it in walnut. Do you have someone in Portland that does your upholstery?

pintodelux; I used IN-EX upholstery for this project. Mario is his name. If you use him, tell him I sent you. I am very happy with the quality of the stitching he did.

Nice work. Next time we need a couch I’ve been planning on making this style.

Nice looking project. The prairie style is a favorite and the choice of walnut was a good one. Thanks for sharing.

Perfection. Rarely achieved, but this is a fine example of it.
