A cabinet project I recently completed to convert a small third bedroom into a home office.

Upper & Lower Cabinet Carcasses:
3/4” black melamine for most of the cabinet carcasses. Cabinet construction is frameless style with Titebond melamine glue and 7mm x 50mm confirmat screws. 7/8” maple edgebading, primed and painted, on all exposed edges.

Doors and End Panels:
End panels are all 3/4” MDF for the panels, rails, and stiles. Cabinet doors & drawer fronts are MDF center panels with poplar rails & stlies. Molding is 1×3 poplar.

Router Bits:
—Freud 99-511 for the center panels
—Freud 99-764 Bevel Rail and Stile Bit Set
—Freud 32-524 1/2” Height Multi-Rabbet Router Bit Set
—Freud 99-421 Molding Bevel Cutter

Door Hinges:
—Blum 110° BLUMOTION soft close hinge (71B3550)
—Blum 45° BLUMOTION soft close hinge (79B3598)

Drawer Slides:
—KV 8505 Overtravel 150lb file drawer slides
—KV 8450FM soft-close full extension drawer slides

Finish:
—Sherwin Williams Premium Wall & Wood Primer (2 coats)
—Sherwin Williams ProClassic Waterborne Acrylic (2 coats)
—Primer & paint applied with a Wagner 0276124 HVLP Conversion Gun (gleempaint.com) & DeWalt D55168 15 gallon air compressor.
