So when we found out that my wife was pregnet with our third girl and we only have a 3 bedroom house, We decided it was time for bunk beds. These beds are built completely out of poplar to keep the price down and then finished with antique cherry. I love it when my oldest can help on my projects (usually sanding) she really liked helping on this one cause it was hers!

These are nice. Good work. I also see that you had a great helper.

Really nice work. My twins are in the same room and I need to build some bunks. I like the idea of the L shape rather than stacking. Beautiful job and God bless that bun in the oven!

Thanks and I guess I should have mentioned these are old pictures. The bun in the oven is 4 months old now.

Great bed, that will serve the family well. I just built a trundle bed with my son, and these family projects are always the most rewarding.

Great job.
p.s. I am a little envious of your clamp collection.

Your bunk beds are looking great and sturdy. Like the design and the finish. Great job as well as your little helper.
