Very nice stoppers. I really like the top left and right ones. Your making me jealous, my lathe went down and I’m waiting on parts from Grizzly. Thanks for sharing

Very nice stoppers. The selection of woods used is great.

Those are gorgeous. What kind of lathe did you turn them on?

Nice looking stoppers. Do you sell these? If so how much do you charge?
Thanks,

Wow, very nice, how do you do the dyeing process and where did you find the metal stopper parts?

Thank you all for the very nice comments.
savannah505 – these pictures are the best that my camera can take. (sorry)
MattH – I have an old Jet lathe (the blue one) model – JWL 1236
ToddO – yes, I do sell them at a local wine store. I get as much as I can for them (approx. $15 – $18 each)
Bob A in NJ – the dyed blanks were given to me by the supplier of the chrome stoppers. I made a big enough order that he just threw them in. The site I purchased the chrome stoppers from is: Arizona Silhouette
I am reading an article on dying wood at Steven Russell site. He has a specific article on using dye’s to enhance wood located HERE.
