This is made from Beech and pink ivory, finished in a food safe coating usually used on kitchen counter tops.The pink ivory is very close grained and turns beautifully.

Nice job on the turning. The pestle came out super. These are a great essential for cooking.

The Pink Ivory came from my local timber store (Somerset UK), they have a stock of pen blank sized bits and occasionally some a bit larger.
