The contrasting colors of maple and purpleheart really make this small piece attractive. After the initial cuts
I use the oscillating spindle sander to finalize the shape of the corners/ends. also good for removing saw marks inside the drawer openings. I handcut grey felt to line the drawers.

The combination of maple and purpleheart is my favorite. Good choice and beautiful box.
