This is a solid maple bowl I finished a couple of days ago. I’ve been out of the shop for a break and doing summertime work on the ranch (2.5 acres!). The Pie Safe was successfully delivered from Colorado to Pennsylvania and also did a tour of Delaware and Virginia. There is a whole lot of wood there compared to Colorado! I love doing this patinization thing and will try to develope some skill at it. Thanks for looking, Joe

Not normally a fan, but this one is exceptional. Love the way the patina gives it an almost stone look, aged.
Very nice, and I think worth pursuing.

That is a great result, and the last photo really sets it off.

Thanks for showing.

-- Bob, Western Australia, The Sun came up this morning, what a great start to the day. Now it's up to me to make it even better.

Like the look of the patina and the lovely shape of your bowl. You have to make more. Thanks for sharing.
