Fancy picture holder (painting frame style)

Well, I saw a big painting and just copied the idea but on a small format. I think it came out kind of nice.

I made a jig to mount the 4 pre cutted pieces so I can nail gun it togther while the glue dryes. Afterwards it is just a matter of drilling a small holes to put the pivoting support wich is also precuted at an angle on the back so it stays fixed to support the weight of the pictures.

I was able to put all these 15 frames together in just one day.. so easy little project, maybe perfect for christmas gift?

The picture of the main photo is a little ME and my recently passed away grandmother <3

Good job a jig can really help with projects that we have multiples of.

They are great.
Years ago a friend was doing miniature paintings and wanted stands like those to display her work. I don’t recall how many I made for her but it was a whole bunch.
