Hello fellows,

I would like to share with you a bench I made few months ago.I used a brazilian wood called “peroba mica” (Aspidosperma sp )

The inspiration was a toy of my daughter.

I used only dowels and glue to join parts.

Thanks for attention

Muito bacana, e bem vindo ao LJ :)
What is in the 11th picture? is it the dowel marking?

Thanks for all comments.

Yes the 11th picture shows how I transfered the dowel position from “leg” to bench seat. I used 4 dowel markers at the same time.

I was thinking on something similar to transfer the dowel position, but did not find it for sale here, may be I can ask a machinist to make it. Your drilling jig is also interesting. Can you post some pictures of it?

One more time thanks for all comments.

Sergio my first set of dowel markers I asked a friend to did it at mechanical shop. This is why they are much stonger than the comercial ones.

You can find it at Rockler or Woodcraft .They call dowel center.

My dowel jig is a famous Dowelmax, unfortunately it is not cheap jig,but very acurate and very well done.
