In total I made three of these cribbage boxes and they were a lot of fun. I made an interesting jig to drill all the holes which you can see in the last photo. All three were gifts for my family members for Christmas in 2012.

Now, I’ve made a few cribbage boards and know that drilling the holes is a whole lot of work…so, a jig would be a god send…...but looking at your jig, I just don’t see how it works….maybe you can post a few more pictures and a bit of explanation attached to it…would be great. I like the box idea with the board…will look into that aspect for my next board.

Hey prez, I took your suggestion and made a post about the jig. My memory is a bit foggy on the details but I think the jist is there. If you have any other question please let me know. I’m not sure it is any faster than carful layout and drilling by hand but I think in the end it will make you feel more comfortable. http://lumberjocks.com/projects/92065

That’s a great looking board. I’ve made a couple, but nothing this nice. You’ve inspired me to make yet another and incorporate some of your ideas. I love the jig, its a very clever idea to get perfect spacing. Thanks for sharing!
