Here is a custom couch side table with an 8in table saw blade embedded in the surface. Table is made entirely of 3/4 in pine finished with min wax black stain wiped on let sit for 5 then wiped off. Sides are beveled at at 45 and also the legs on all four sides making octagon legs. Blade is held in place with a bar top style finish about 1/8 thick, bottom, legs and sides are sprayed with 3 coats tungoil/ poly blend

Very cool. How did you keep the bar top finish from all running off over the sides?

Thanks, I just poured it on and let it run off then took a foam brush and cleaned up the edges then let it tack up a bit and went back and brushed the edges again
