I made this for a great-nephew’s 6th birthday. It was a hit. The handle is turned from hard maple, and the wand is a poplar dowel dyed green. It’s held into the handle with epoxy. I tried turning the wand, but without a steady rest, it was near disaster. A quick project to turn out.
