Made this for the local USMC Reserve unit to give as the gift to the Guest of Honor. The pistol is a training ‘blue body’ cut down the middle and painted. The Eagle, Globe, and Anchor is a pattern cut by my CNC machine.
Happy 238th Birthday Marines.

If I sent you my email, could you send me the drawing you used or your cnc machine for that Marine Logo? That’s very well done, my friend…

Great looking plaque! Very appropriate use of a CNC machine in my opinion.

BGW, The Eagle Globe and Anchor is from the http://www.vectorart3d.com/ site. There is a cost for the design (someday hope to design my own stuff but the software is really $$$). The CNC machine is the SharkPro. http://www.rockler.com/cnc-shark-pro-plus-routing-system.
Lots of initial expense but hope to retire and ‘play’ someday! Till then I’m a part time sawdust making.
