Went to the shop this morning to make a box and made these instead. LOL Frame is spalted oak and the pic is an invitation to a 50 year marriage anniversary party. It’s a gift for the married couple. The giraffe is spalted maple and is 8” tall and 3/4” thick. Cut it out on the bandsaw and when done, I picked it up and 2/3rd’s of the tail fell off! On the underside was a hole/hollow that I didn’t see. Oh well, still looks okay to me. Both are finished with Danish oil. Thanks for the looks and comments.
