This is another one for my photographer wife. As you can see from the simple design, it is very quick and easy to make. Everything but the propeller is made using 2” x 6”. To assemble I flipped it over and screwed and glued each layer to the next – this keeps the only exposed screws on the bottom. Wings are 24” long, bottom piece of body is also 24”, next two pieces of the body are 29.5”, tail is 18” long. Propeller is 1/2” thick and about 9.5” long. If you look close you’ll see the propeller in the first pic (the professional one) is different from the one in the fourth pic – I decided to make it a bit longer before the photo shoot.
Nice thing about this prop is how sturdy it is – the flats across the wing and body make for good posing locations for babies, and with toddlers you don’t have to worry if they climb all over it.
