I needed a lockable box for some of my ammunition, so I figured why not make one!
A couple of hours in the garage some left over pine and here is the result.
The box is all pine with 1/8” saw kerfs to make it look like the slats on a crate. The paint is camo green out of a spray can. I used my airbrush to paint on the “Ammo” on the side of the box, I kept the paint watered down to keep it looking faded. The top I routed out then painted with “Army of Two” logo, my son loves the video game and loves to target shoot as well. The box is 12” wide, 10” deep and 8” high. It holds about 900 rounds. I installed a cam lock on the top and handles to make it easier to move since it weighs 40lbs!!

Now that’s just cool. Like the saw kerf ‘planks’. I think I’ll drop this one in the old favorites box. Thanks.

Nice box, and nice collection of ammo.

Been wanting to do some sort of box like this as well. Thanks for the inspiration.
