These are a couple of special order tile frames made for Laura Reutter of Ravenstone Tiles. Made of quarter sawn white oak with true mortise and tennon pegged construction. I ebonized and pillowed the 1/4” pegs. The tiles pictured are the tiles that will be installed in the frames when the customer receives them. The tiles are 4” x 12”. The plywood back has been painted flat black so when the tile is installed it will blend with the edges of the tiles.

I updated the pictures to show the tiles mounted in the frames. Ravenstone Tiles took the last two pictures after she got the tiles mounted.

@HillbillyShooter, Thank you for you compliment. I did not fume the frames. The finish is a water based dye, then a oil stain and then lacquer.
