Nice looking bench. I especially like your butterflies. Thanks for sharing.

Wow! THAT’S GREAT! I’m becoming a bigger fan of live-edge furniture all the time. It seems like that’s the way a tree’s insides were meant to be displayed—in complete cross-section.
Keep it up. I hope to try that type of woodworking some day. Nakashima should be an inspiration to all LJ’s.

Sweet. Any story behind it or was the lumber just purpose picked?

Thanks all! No real story. Back in the spring I Built my logger 4 single beds for his hunting cabin, in trade for 3 walnut logs, 1 cherry log (cut to my specs) & a 56” circular saw blade ( with a 4” chunk busted out of it) That I’m going to use for my Around the Bend Woodworks Sign. I’ll post the sign when its done.

That bench looks very nice, but walnut would look nice as a toilet seat. Great build.

Ted, I simply meant that walnut looks great. I wasn’t referring that your bench is a toilet seat. I am sorry if I gave that impression.
