I first want to say thanks to simarilan for sharing his plans.

This one is for a fellow “mustang”. I was trying to go with the weathered look so there’s a little crackle paint in the squadron colors. The shot glass holders are F-18 wings and I used small wiskey barrels for the engine intakes. They are going to add a squadron patch and the engraved placard to the doors. Oh yea, it suffered a bomb attack but is still open for business.

I like the swinging doors and how they open to a medicinal bottle of Jack. What is ‘mustang’ reference to?

Mustang refers to someone who started out in the enlisted ranks and later earned a commission. It is a highly respected title…....a common theme is “I did it the hard way, I earned it”.
