Hello all, I am new here, been an amateur woodworker since my teens. Now I do mostly wood carving. Here is an elk I carved a while back. Power carved out of basswood. He is about 11 inches long and 8 high including the base.

Wow! You did a great job on that elk. You really caught the look of the antlers the way you have finished them.

Excellent carving! Looks like the real thing, just smaller. Like all the great details and mix of colors.
