These are my redneck sander carving projects, they are out of pine and painted. My Aunt for some reason wanted me to make her a couple planes for her husband. They are toys so I hope she likes them or I guess he likes them anyway they are here in all their glory.

Neat project! I like the construction. They are cool for sure. A little observation… when you take time to build something so nice, it’s worth a little more time in the painting. Everyone isn’t an artist, but masking tape can keep lines straight (as the windows of the P-51)IMHO.

I like them. Well done.
Here’s some useless information…...local airport has a visiting P-51 Mustang that you can get a ride in for a measly $1,595.00 for 20 Minutes!
If that is too rich for you try the B-17 for only $450.00 for 30 minutes.
