Getting ready for Christmas

Got a big craft fair coming up the Saturday after Thanksgiving, so trying to keep the shop humming. The Tea-light holders are my take on a pattern I found on line, the lucets are a Steve Good design, while the Model T tank trucks are my take on a design from Norm Marshall in the Great Book of Wooden Toys. The tanks are chunks cut from an old rolling pin. It’s a mix of poplar, oak, black walnut and birch ply. The flat board is glued up from pine, black walnut and purple heart and will eventually be a basket, the dachshund body will have articulated legs and be a pull toy.

Thanks for looking.

Great looking trucks and I’m sure the ladies will love the other items.

A lot of great projects there. I especially like the tankers, they were probably still in use when I was little, lol.
