It’s like I was reading her mind…The morning I stopped by the shop on my way to work with intentions of offering to make her a new store sign that was bold and stood out & you could see it from the street at 25mph. Her other sign sucked, and you had to really look for it with the small lavender letters on a white background. Well she had to make a sign quick and I reckon that’s what she had to work with. Before I could even get the words out of my mouth, she asked me if I could make her a new sign. I told her that is why I stopped by! So I worked on it most of the weekend and finally got it to her on Tuesday. She loved it and said the type of font was just what she wanted to fit in with the old Civil War town of Mount Jackson. I had to sketch this out by hand on the one side, then I traced the lettering and transferred it to the other side with 3 11×14 pieces of graph paper taped together because I didn’t have what I needed, I used what I had, and then I turned the tracing over and used a large piece of graphite and rubbed it on the back for the transfer. Then I painted it by hand, then sprayed a clear coat over it. The sign material itself was a small table top I had sitting around that was close to the dimensions that she needed!
