My third Green Woman of original design. Hand carved with gouges as a relief wall hanging. She has all the mystery of the medieval green men who warned that the forest was a scary, dangerous place, but yet she is a little Americanized because more of her face is exposed than on a traditional green man. Fun to work on. I tried to get a more open face without an actual smile. Basswood finished with a beeswax, carnauba wax, and turpentine mix.
