This is a copy of a plane I have in miniature. I intend on using this as the opening mechanism for a lid on a box.
Ain’t got that far but the plane is done. I tried to make it look used by adding a little india ink and alchohol to give it a little grease look. Like oil from years of use.
Or maybe I am just a bit crazy for making this. Took about 2 hours total, including making the Stainless Blade.
It does actually WORK, on balsa or basswood. It is one piece of basswood and an oak dowel, a brass rod and a stainless steel blade.
